I may have to think about this because of the 1st Safari known bug confused
But I did not want to load the cpu by resizing images, nor wanted I to install a background process to do this job. I wanted to just use the files available in the iPhoto library.

Moreover, GD, required to work on images in php is not installed by default on OSX.

Don't really know how to do this properly, without making the install process more difficult with additional packages (see, there are already users who have issues with the install).

Any idea ?
