Is there a way to customize this one further? I am getting goofy displays when it displays incoming messages. For example there is a \ before the senders name. I am also looking to see if it is possible to display a clip of the message body.

Hi,
you should ask this question to Greg, the author of this norifier. I just put a link to it on my site, but I don't use it, nor have it's source code.
