Downloading of selected photos fails |

First, my great appreciation for the author. The functionality offered is very innovative. And the french author is taking the pain to bring his work into the english dominated web community!
I wonder if anybody has some suggestions for the following issue:
After selecting a number of photos to download, the text appears to download them. Clicking on the link, I get a browser window showing a lot of unreadable characters. I would have expected a screen telling me the zip-file would start to download.
This issue happens with Safari. Also with IE on a PC. However, Firefox does not have this problem on my computer.
Any ideas on how to solve this are most welcome !

Hi,
I don't know why your browsers react like this, but you could right-click and "save the link target as..." instead of just clicking it. (and save it as a .zip file) |

OMG !! I just tried with Safari and I got the same behaviour. Something has changed since Tiger. I hate that
Firefox still works fine though. |

I found a solution which will be released with version 2.4.
Tell me if you want me to send you a pre-2.4 version to check it's ok for you. |

Great to hear you that you found a solution! I would be happy to test version 2.4 and see if it solves the issue mentioned in this thread. |

Now have installed WiPha 2.4 (pre-release) and this indeed solves the issues.
On top of it, it seems to be loading the photo library even much faster.
Thanks a lot ! |

I too came to this forum searching for an answer to this problem. Will 2.4 be released soon? I'd like to test it as well. |
