Hello

I have the impression that seamonkey 2 is more similar to Thunderbird, than previous version. Will external editor support Seamonkey.

 Yes, it is possible. You need only to modify EE 0.8.0 adding the
following to install.rdf:

It works for me, at least for SM 2.0.3

 Thanks, but it does not work for me.

I downloaded seamonkey 2.03 I cannot find 2.04
Here is what I did.
exteditor_v080.xpi is zip file, so I unzipped it in a directory and
added to install rdf the lines you mentioned.
I zipped the dir called it externalsea.xpi and tried to install it.

I obtained the following error

seamonkey cannot install ...
because install script  not found
error -204
