It doesn't work

I installed and configured it but it doesn't work neither with mnotify nor with Greg notifier. I can't delete the profile, because i will lose all my mails and settings. Is there any workaround?
Win XP Pro
Thunderbird 1.5.0.4

Hi,
either you made a mistake (and you didn't give enough info for me to help), or you have an extension conflict.
Instead of removing your profile, you may just 'move it', i.e. rename it, for TB to create a new one. Make your tests in this new one, then, delete it and move your own profile to it's original name back.

I installed it correctly. The popup works ok in the preview.
Also I disabled thunderbird's notification. I tried with a clean profile also, but no luck :(

Then,
as I already wrote in a similar previous thread, you must investigate if the notifier is called, and fails, or if it's even not called.
For this, you would need to create you own notifier (.bat file) which just for instance creates a file somewhere and containing the first parameters.
I have no real dev and batch expérience on windows, I won't be very helpful here.

Can you give me the link of the thread?

Yes,
it was this one. But that was on unix. Easier... (at least for me)
